Meet Alessia and Giusy

The two friends and mothers behind Holiday in the CT, and what they add to every stay: a personalised itinerary, a digital guide and WhatsApp help throughout.

Behind Holiday in the CT there are two people: Alessia and Giusy. They are the founders, they are friends, and they are both mothers. They look after every one of our homes themselves, and they are the people you will be talking to before, during and after your stay.

Their idea is simple, and it is the line you will see across this site: your home, away from home.

What they do before you arrive

Choosing where to stay is the first decision, and they are happy to help with it. Whether you want to be in the middle of Catania, by the sea, on the slopes of Etna or in the countryside near Noto, they will tell you honestly which home suits you.

Then comes the part guests talk about most: a personalised itinerary. Tell them how you like to travel, with children or without, slow or busy, food first or beaches first, and they put together a plan with maps, links and their own advice. It is included with every stay. Read more about the itinerary.

They also share practical tips: what to pack, the best time of year to come, and what to do when you land.

On the day you arrive

Every home comes with check-in video tutorials, so you know exactly where to go and how to get in before you are standing at the door. Most homes have 24/7 self check-in, which matters when flights run late.

Inside, a digital guide covers the home itself and the neighbourhood around it.

During your stay

You are never on your own. Alessia and Giusy are on WhatsApp for the whole of your stay, for a question about the washing machine or a restaurant recommendation alike.

They can also arrange the practical things: a private airport transfer, a hire car, or an excursion on Etna with the guides they work with.

The touches that come from being mothers

Some details come from Alessia and Giusy being mothers themselves. Hairdryers, mirrors and sockets where you actually need them. Cribs on request. Toys for the little ones.

None of it is complicated. It is just what you would want to find if you were arriving somewhere new with a family.

Say hello

You can see Alessia and Giusy in their own videos on the Holiday in the CT YouTube channel. Or skip straight to the conversation: send them a message, or check availability for your dates.
